Let me tell you about Wes Kirkpatrick … but first a tad about myself.
I live not far from the Kirkpatricks on Hunters Creek Drive. I am retired from 45 years in the United Methodist Church, pushing 80 now, and have enjoyed some incredible musicians over the years.
Jane Gamble was organist at one of my appointments, Christ UMC (directly across the street at the Laurelwood Shopping Center) where Jane was the organist. Jane is a concert musician and has played all across the US, as well as Europe. One of her finest was Notre Dame in Paris. For years, I thought no one in all my appointments could touch her. Jane was incredible and still is!
One day, my organist was out of town and the choir director told me she had arranged fro an organist who played at a local funeral home. So much for that, I thought, but when it came to practice, I heard him play Widor’s Toccata, one of my favorites, and I ran from my desk to hear him — perfection! When he knew how I loved it, he played it on my last Sunday there.
Wes is unbelievable, tunes our own piano, and is a master musician!!! He has a most unusual and delightful personality, and most everyone loves him.
In fact, at my advanced age, I have resumed piano lessons from my high school and college years.
Now for the last words from a long-winded minister, you will never beat Wes as a piano tuner and an incredible musician. If you ever are in need of someone extraordinary, you will never beat Wes and Cynthia.
